I Support The Community
I have a long history of service to the community. Prior to pursuing my legal career, I served as an AmeriCorps volunteer and spent several years as a middle school teacher, assistant principal, and football and basketball coach. After a career in educating youth, I left teaching to earn a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard and a law degree from the University of Kentucky. Immediately following law school, I worked as an insurance defense lawyer with a large firm in Louisville for six years. Now, that experience allows me to know what the other side is thinking when I’m defending personal injury claims. Over the past 10 years, I have used this experience to put my personal injury clients in the best positions possible to win their cases. In addition to working in my personal injury practice, I am involved in the local bar associations, serve on the Board of Governors for the Kentucky Justice Association and work as general counsel for the Oldham-LaGrange Development Authority.
